Artist's Comments

This is in memory of my older cat Orion's recent passing. He was about 10 years old and had FLUTD (you can probably google that if you're interested, no need to gross out the masses...) Anyway, after having it most of his life, his kidneys finally shut down. He died two weeks ago this sunday.

I tweaked his eyes a bit after seeing a whole bunch of blue eyed cats and running across a tutorial for changing eye color done by ~valhalla-vania-brush on her site [link]

So if that means it should go into photomanips rather than where it is, I apologize, but the eyes were the only thing I retouched, so as to better emphasize them, since he was partly in shadow.

RIP Orion.

well, he lived a fairly long and happy life, so I'm trying not to dwell on it too much.

Thank you.

He's beautiful Gia.

It's sad he's no longer with you but I'm sure you have many happy memories of the time you had together.

My cat got FLUTD also...found it out a few hours ago... just a little question. How long did he live with FLUTD??

--
Never too loud...
:icongiawolf:
Well he suffered from it for about 6 years before it finally took him. We managed him with food and sometimes meds for the most part.
:iconhellatec:
He got over it!!! Though it looked like a super mild case... soo... looks like he is cured for sure now :) and R.I.P. for you cat :(
